The ECHOES platform aims to enable a better understanding of the impacts of climate change on coastal habitats along the Irish Sea. The web-based platform will provide tools for land managers and policy makers to make more informed decisions and manage actions for these sites, with particular regard for maintaining healthy and viable populations of wetland birds along the coast of Ireland and Wales.

The ECHOES platform was developed with the end user in mind. Understanding the potential needs and requirements of users and stakeholders has been central central to this; the process of gathering requirements was ongoing until Autumn 2022. Development work is now nearing completion, and is being tested by stakeholders.
